The Reservation Bachao Sangharsh Samiti has called for a Today Bharat Bandh, August 21, to protest the Supreme Court’s decision on SC/ST reservations. SC/ST groups in Rajasthan are backing the bandh.

“We have asked our officials to organize meetings with groups calling for the bandh, as well as with market associations, to facilitate better cooperation,” the DGP told TOI.
